Below are some YouTube videos showing crash tests. The first is for a w123 chassis that went into production in 1975. The last two are for new production vehicles manufactured in China.

while none of us ever hope to test the rigidity of our cars, it is alarming how these newer Chinese cars are performing compared to an MB that began on the design table over 35 years ago. Even the original VW beetle fared better!
