"Perfect Fit" is Perfect Fit - McDonald Inc. with offices and warehouses in both Tukwila WA, and Portland OR. Our name, Perfect Fit - McDonald Inc. is the result of the merger of Perfect Fit Manufacturing Inc.of Portland and McDonald & Company Inc. Perfect Fit, established in 1924 and McDonald & Co, established in 1912 were competitors who came under the same ownership in 1965 and the companies finally merged in 1980 under a single name.

Perfect Fit Mfg. was started by J. Cyril Lowit and his father originally as a manufacturer of auto seat covers, carpet sets and tire covers, selling to major catalog stores such as Montgomery Ward.
